نورة بنت صغيرة تحب البطيخ كثيرًا، وترفض أن تأكل طعامًا غيره. ماذا سيحصل عندما تجد نورة يطيخة كبيرة على طاولة المطبخ؟

تفضل نورة البطيخ على كل أنواع الأطعمة الأخرى وتصر على تناوله دون سواه.تضع نورة بطيخة تحت سريرها كي تستطيع أكلها وحدها بعد أن يذهب الجميع في البيت إلى النوم. يحدث شيء غريب جداً، تكبر البطيخة شيئا فشيئا إلى أن تملأ الغرفة تماما...وهنا يبدأ المرح .تمهد القصة الطريق للحديث عن الأطعمة المفضلة لدى الأطفال وأهمية الوجبة المتنوعة والمتوازنة كما تحثهم على تجربة أنواع أخرى من الطعام، كما يمكن استخدامها لحث الأطفال على مشاركة الآخرين وعدم الاستئثار بالأشياء لأنفسهم.

Watermelon is Noura’s favorite food. One day she hides a big watermelon under her bed so she can eat it all by herself after everybody goes to bed. Something very strange happens in the middle of the night. The watermelon gets bigger and bigger and bigger….
